Safe Space Ally Program – Queers & Allies & LGBT Resource Center

  • Starting in the spring semester of 2009, the Safe Space Ally Program is a peer-educational program geared toward teaching students at the University of Kansas issues regarding the LGBTQ community, like terminology, anti-oppression resources, and current events, in the hopes that more students will identify and act as allies to the LGBTQ community.

LGBT Resource Center

  • The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Resource Center is a clearinghouse of information regarding issues affecting the LGBT community – as well as our straight friends, family members and allies.

Safe Zone  – LGBT Resource Center

  • The Safe Zone program at the University of Kansas is an educational program that will help educate both the campus and greater Lawrence community in order to create a safer, more civil community for all individuals, particularly our gay, lesbian, bisexual, & transgender (LGBT) members.

OUTLaws & Allies

  • OutLaws & Allies is a group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and allied students, staff, faculty, and alumni at the University of Kansas School of Law. We support KU’s LGBT law students, the local and legal LGBT communities, and the greater university community. Membership is open to all, including straight allies who support their colleagues.
